do you only photograph women?

No.  I am fully trained in newborn safety posing, and have many years experience photographing newborn babies and children.  I do still love photographing these genres so please do get in touch if you're interested!

Can my partner be involved in my photoshoot?

Of course!  It is completely up to you whether you would like the photographs taken on your own, with your partner, with a family member, or a best friend.

Where are the portrait sessions held?

Dependent on what kind of images you would like, these can be taken in the comfort of your own home, a location of your choice, or in my home studio (Horsmonden).

i don't normally wear make-up - will I look like myself?

We will talk through hair and make-up options in your pre-shoot consultation.  You can choose as little or as much make-up as you like.  The professional stylist will also ask what styles you would like, and there is no call the shots!

can i book my session on a weekend?

I work Monday to Friday only, as I treasure my family-time on a weekend.  However, I do find that my clients love the idea of taking a day off work for this super special, pampering experience.  Even better...choose the Friday and plan a night out afterwards, as you will look and feel gorgeous!

How long will the photo sessions last?

This depends on what kind of photo session you have booked.  As a guide, my 'Womanhood' sessions last for around 4 hours, and include professional hair and make-up styling, as well as a number of outfit changes.  A newborn session can last for up to 4 hours, as we go at the pace of the baby - we take breaks whenever the baby needs to be fed, changed, etc.  An older baby / child / family session will generally last for 1-2 hours.

I use creative posing to ensure that your body is looking it's best.  If there is any part of your body that you're particularly self-conscious about, just let me know and I will bear that in mind.  After the photo session, I choose the best images and hand-edit them to compliment your natural beauty.  My aim is for you to be completely satisfied and confident with your images.

I'm not good in front of a camera - what should I do?

I'll tell you a secret - I'm not good in front of a camera either!  Don't worry - I'll direct you into different poses and you'll soon be feeling the thrill of being a model for the day!

How long will I have to wait before I can see my images and how do I get to see them?

I select the best images from the session and then hand-edit them to transform them from 'good' to 'great'!  As you might imagine, this isn't a quick process - art takes time, and I don't want to rush through your image processing and risk them not looking as fabulous as they should.  I will have your images ready approximately 2 weeks after the shoot, and will present these to you in a Reveal Session, where you will get to see and feel my gorgeous sample products too.
